Prophet Sovi unapologetically living the Jesus lifestyle

In a world where young people live for Facebook likes, Instagram dms, and twitter followers there is a rise of a new breed of unapologetic young preachers living what they call the “Jesus lifestyle”. These preachers are using these robust real-time social media platforms as a means of fulfilling the great commission of preaching the gospel and turning the hearts of man toward his maker.

With audiences strewn across the world preachers spend hours on end on their devices sharing the word of God. Putting our smart devices on flight mode I sat down to a cup of tea with an influencer of this tech generation Prophet Isaiah Sovi and I began by asking him what this new craze is all about?

“Social media is a tool that brings the world closer and gives preachers like me a virtual space where I am able to interact with people on a personal level, share the word of God, encouraging one another while allowing the important aspect of feedback. Your see in a church setting the only response to the word is always AMEN.  Feedback gives the audience room to seek clarity on certain issues. As you know this walk with Christ has those who are like babies right up to the matured Christians who are fed different meals at different times” explained Prophet Sovi.

I had to know why he chose social media as opposed to the traditional church.

“Being sent to minister the Gospel rarely comes with grand pulpits so after preaching on the streets and in public places around my country of birth Zambia and in South Africa where I’m currently based. I sought innovative ways and platforms of spreading the word of God. There is no greater place than the virtual space where 9 billion of the 3.4 billion active internet users are on Facebook along. Launching my social pages in 2012 I began sharing whatever God would put on my heart and in a few weeks the page’s followers started to increase to nearly 20 000. I found myself missing many nights of sleep, meals and sometimes a shower or 2 as I shared the word of salvation. I remember chatting for hours to people who logged onto the page from countries where being Christian was near criminal. I knew then I found my calling” said Prophet Sovi.

He added that he does not dismiss the traditional way of doing church saying he will be launching his church IMPERIAL CITY CHURCH in early 2017. “The word of God is so important that we cannot limit ourselves to single platforms of ministry. “ICC will be launched first in South Africa and will spread across the world”.

The origins of the biggest bombshell yet in Zimbabwe’s unending corruption scandal was unravelled just before Christmas.

Confessions of former Deputy chairman of the Special Advisory Board on Indigenisation and Empowerment, appointed Special Interest Councillor to the City of Bulawayo, Mr. Fidelis Fengu have shocked the Christian community particularly the prophetic movement.

In a signed statement issued to Onward Christian Radio by D. N. [Ncube Corporate Communications Executive for Fidelis Fengu and Associates (PBC)] Mr Fengu explicitly explains how he had been personally hired to besmirch the character and the person of prophet Uebert Angel among other Christian leaders, revealing that this was an account that he personally handled.

“We handled a number of sensitive accounts and are proud of some of the work that we have done while regretting other accounts we handled. We would like to take responsibility for our role, as directed by our clients in the character assassination of various personalities and entities such as Prophet Uebert Angel and Spirit Embassy. Unfortunately due to Non-disclosure agreements we cannot divulge who the client was, but we are at liberty to divulge some of the things that we did under these accounts to ruin Prophet Angel’s reputation.

Our smear campaign against Prophet Angel included trumped up criminal charges which were laid through our agents we planted to infiltrate the Spirit Embassy Church, we created rape allegations, sexual scandals, criminal scandals and even tried to ensure that we break up his marriage and church on behalf of our clients. At one point in November 2014 we bugged his Graniteside office through Martin Mandizha our agent who frequented the office at our behest in search of incriminating evidence against Uebert Angel. Prophet Angel’s only crime was refusing to do certain things for certain politicians who then approached our entity to find ways of punishing Uebert Angel.” Reads part of the statement.

In an effort to get to the bottom of this scandal Onward Christian Radio pressed Mr Fengu to reveal the identity of the said politicians however, he retorted that he was still constrained by contractual obligations and as such there were still issues he could not disclose.

Mr. Fengu disclosed that his company also targeted political figures and that they had a large network that spread the breath of Southern Africa.

“We have a wide network that is active in 7 countries and this has helped us spread rumours regionally and enhance our character assassination efforts, making us a consultancy of choice to anyone who has an axe to grind with public personalities. We not only targeted Men of God, but also targeted politicians, businessmen and models.

Former Minister Nicholas Goche who was falsely accused of plotting to assassinate the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, an accusation which was engineered by one of our clients and fuelled by our efforts and lead to the dismissal of Cde. Nicholas Goche from his ministerial and politburo positions. There are many others from different fraternities who have been victims of our targeted attacks on their personalities. We sincerely regret our actions and sincerely apologize to everyone who was adversely affected by our activities. These include Minister Lazarus Dokora, Hon. V. P. Cde. E.D. Mnangagwa, among several others.” The statement adds.

In a wide ranging interview Onward Christian Radio’s Brilliant Pongo spoke to Mr Fengu seeking a comment with regards this statement and he said:

“Zimbabwe’s politicians need to stop fighting genuine Men and women of God. It is a shame that politicians use all they can to engineer the demise of genuine Men of God leaving impostors to flourish.

Zimbabwe needs Prophet Angel, his business acumen is creating employment in other countries and creating a positive ripple effect on the GDP of other nations that have embraced him.”

Through the statement issued by his company Mr Fengu also sort the forgiveness of other men of God he singled out Prophet Makandiwa and Shepherd Bushiri in particular.

Mr Fengu also spoke of how his company had played a part in the disruption of leadership of Christ Embassy Church in Zimbabwe. Christ Embassy  is led by pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

“We also extend our apologies to Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa , we created the rumors that he had been to Kwaku Bonsam in Ghana where he received powers to perform miracles. We also started the rumors that the United Family International church logo was satanic and represented satanic symbols, among other things. We targeted Prophet Makandiwa because he refused to fund certain political activities that had been initiated by our clients.

We were also behind the problems that Prophet Shepherd Bushiri faced with the government of Malawi. We circulated a rumor that Major 1 was planning on running for President under an MCP ticket after Reverend Chakwera had failed to win the Presidential election. Through our wide network we ensured that false news on Major 1 reached the ears of high ranking DPP officials in Malawi. IN 2016 we circulated a video of Kembo Mohadi at ECG and this was in line with a dubious poster we had circulated online that linked Prophet Shepherd Bushiri to a business breakfast with Emmerson Mnangagwa the Vice President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, all this done on the request of our clients.

Christ embassy has also suffered splits in Zimbabwe due to the rumors we spread , and created internal fights between pastors there on the request of our clients who knew what they would benefit from the splits. It is unfortunate that this statement will not reverse the damage done. We do sincerely apologize for the trouble we have caused, in these institutions and the lives of the targeted personalities.” The statement read.

It is not known how Mr Fengu’s former principals will react to this disclosure.

Meanwhile all the man of God mentioned in this shocking scandal have remained mum opting not to comment on this.

Uebert Angel Surprises Thousands of conference delegates at the GoodNews Zimbabwe 2017 conference.

In what has been declared ‘The Year of Angelic Visitation.’ Zimbabwe was pleasantly surprised by a prophetic visitation. What more could one ask for? Prophet Uebert Angel, Prophetess BeBe Angel, prophet Shepherd Bushiri and prophetess Mary Bushiri all under one roof at the City Sports Centre in Harare.

It was a miracle filled night, GoodNews Zimbabwe Conference 2017 is indeed a top contender for event of the year.

After a long absence from the scene prophet Uebert Angel surprised thousands of his church members with an appearance at the GoodNews Zimbabwe conference which had been advertised as headlining prophetess BeBe Angel and Major 1 Shepherd Bushiri.

Taking to the stage prophet Uebert Angel spoke of his love for his church members, he said that it was because of them that he had chosen to come to minister at this year’s GoodNews Zimbabwe Conference.

Uebert Angel, demonstrated why it is that he is called a major prophet. He made it look so easy to prophesy.

Calling on a man in the crowd Uebert Angel pronounced where this man had come from calling him by name Uebert Angel, also correctly called the name of the man’s wife.

Prophet Angel went deeper, revealing the man’s addiction to marijuana. As if that was not enough he specified the man’s favourite brand of cigarettes and went on to prophesy that the man had even got two loose cigarettes of Madison in his pocket.

While, the crowd was still trying to get to terms with that sharp revelation, prophet Angel, was seeing more and revealing even more. Calling upon a woman in the crowd, he said I see a woman with nursing certificates, these certificates have been eaten by something. He stunned the crowd when he asked what seemed a lay question to the woman. “Do you like porridge?” he asked.

The shocked woman responded “yes I do.” Prophet Angel then went on to reveal the contents in this woman’s bag, “in your bag you have instant porridge, a toothbrush ( which he specified by colour) and a tube of Aquafresh toothpaste which is about to run out. As the woman emptied her bag to reveal the contents there were wild cheers of celebration as the people praised God for using his oracle Uebert Angel in such fashion.

Many will query why a prophet would prophesy names, and locations that someone has travelled from; reveal contents in a bag or talk of things that seem inanimate. But, there is very strong reason for this. These very things become faith boosters. As those to whom these things are revealed, see that what they thought undisclosed is not at all secret to the all seeing God. for indeed, God, reveals all secrets to His prophets as taught in Amos 3:7.

The night was a night of deliverance for millions that watched across the world by way of Miracle TV or Good News TV. It was a powerful night of miracles and healing for the thousands that attended the event in Harare.

On behalf of Zimbabwe forgive us

In an astonishing move prophet Bushiri approached the stage and took the microphone from prophet Uebert Angel, Prophet Bushiri explained that he had felt a heavy anointing and moved by that powerful anointing he was led to lead the people of Zimbabwe in asking the prophet of God, Uebert Angel, for forgiveness.

“On behalf of all Zimbabwe we ask for your forgiveness” Bushiri said.

Bushiri, went on to castigate all those who speak ill of the servants of God and he warned the media in particular and urged them to refrain from creating fictitious stories about the prophets of God.

Many people believe that Zimbabwe is bedevilled by the myriad of problems that it faces today primarily due to the nations attitude towards the prophets. Many are of the opinion that chief among the prophets that Zimbabwe mocked was Uebert Angel and as such great misfortune befall Zimbabwe as a direct result of that.

It has been whispered in the Christian and prophetic circles that part of the remedy to solving Zimbabwe’s woes was in seeking the forgiveness of the major prophet of God, Uebert Angel in particular.

Event of the year

The two-night conference started on a very high note and all expectations seem to have been met.

A business breakfast meeting will be held on the morning of April 1st led by prophet Bushiri. It will be followed by another evening event, which promises to be full of spark and all the prophetic blessings in the presence of these anointed servants of God.

“We will have a business breakfast and it will be followed by an evening event, a healing and deliverance service” Prophet Bushiri announced.

Intelligence operatives of the Zambian Government have accused Uebert Angel of pouring millions into the opposition political party.

Multimillionaire prophet and leader of the Good News Church, Uebert Angel was sucked into a political scuffle as the Zambian government accused him of funding the opposition party lead by Hakainde Hichilema.

Mr Hichilema, an economist and wealthy businessman, was detained last month after he was jointly charged and arrested with five others with treason. This was after an incident involving the presidential motorcade as it passed through Mongu, 500km west of the capital Lusaka.

Uebert Angel refused to comply to unreasonable demands

Sources close to Prophet Angel say he was issued with a visa, however, the government operatives who met him at the airport listed a number of unreasonable conditions for him to follow should he opt to go into the country. Nonetheless, Uebert Angel refused to comply and he chose not to go into Zambia.

Sources who spoke to Onward Christian Radio on conditions of anonymity said ” Angel is being accused of pouring millions into the opposition leader’s campaign and that information didn’t sit well with the president.”

However, source in the prophet’s camp vehemently deny this and say it’s fiction.

“Angel doesn’t know anything about the opposition leader in fact he has never met or seen Hichilema.” Said our source.

Speaking to Onward Christian Radio, Rikki Doolan the spokesperson for TGNC said, Prophet Uebert Angel is an apolitical leader, he is a Christian leader not aligned to any political party but God.

What I can assure you is that the conferences that were pencilled in for Friday the 5th and Saturday 6th will still go ahead as planned and prophet Uebert Angel will be live, he will lead the conferences as planned no one can stop the work of God not even a government.” Said Rikki Doolan.

The Awakening Conference brought together two titans in the kingdom of God, indeed two generals. Prophet Uebert Angel and Pastor Benny Hinn came together to bless Bulgaria.

At a conference aptly dubbed the ‘Awakening Conference’ indeed, a revival was rekindled right in the heart of Sofia. Consequently, Bulgaria is stirred up for a spiritual awakening.

There was an atmosphere of joy and palpable excitement around Sofia as the emeritus prophet Uebert Angel, demonstrated the mighty power of God through his gift of prophesy.

Uebert Angel, who is regarded as a pioneer of the forensic prophecy in Southern Africa, brought an element of the prophetic that many in Bulgaria had perhaps only heard about and maybe watched on televisions but never thought possible in reality.

The large crowds that filled the venue on each night from the 6-9 September 2017 were left mesmerised by the accuracy of the prophetic word spoken.

Many issues were spiritually confronted and prophetically revealed, thereby leaving those whose issues were confronted, relieved and set free. Indeed, the Lord reveals, in order to redeem. Many were healed of physical ailments and most importantly many souls were won to Jesus Christ.

Not only did Uebert Angel move the crowd with a demonstration of the prophetic, he also touched the hearts and minds of the conference attendees with the erudite exposition of scripture.

Pastor Benny Hinn of Benny Hinn Ministries who is known for his faith healing ‘miracle crusades’ did not disappoint the crowd either. The miracle healer was in his element it was evident that he was also moved mightily by God and used to administer healing. Benny Hinn also delivered powerful teachings over the course of the conference.

The two spiritual titans were hosted in Bulgaria by Pastor Maskin Asenov of Awaken Church.

Uebert Angel is an intriguing character, a name that has sunk deep roots in the prophetic circles and is now established as the founding father of the forensic blend of the prophetic in the modern-day Prophetic movement.

As such while the world stood in anticipation of prophetic declarations for the year 2018, Angel focused attention on the great charity work that his charity the Uebert Angel Foundation (UAF) is set to unleash on Africa.

Speaking to Onward Christian Radio his spokesman Rikki Doolan said “2018 will see a great pouring of resources into Africa. We will channel millions into charity and Zimbabwe is not forgotten. We have a lot in store for Zimbabwe in particular and Africa in general.”

Spirit Embassy the Good News Church has been labelled a controversial church by critics in the past. Onward Christian Radio asked Mr. Doolan why it is that the church was labelled controversial and why some people felt that it was a rich people’s church?

“If it were up to us to choose, God’s church would look a whole lot like you and a whole lot like me. The Church of the Mirror.

Fortunately, God in his great wisdom, didn’t draw unto himself a collection of clean-cut-Christian look-alikes, dressed in white polo shirts and khaki pants. He didn’t draft a fantasy faith team of the smartest, funniest, best looking, and most creative.

The church that Jesus is building is an eclectic, intriguing, quirky, diverse mess of humanity. That’s God’s way. (Which couldn’t be more different than our personal view of the world—and TGNC.)

By design our leader has chosen to fight poverty by equipping not only the membership of the church but all humanity to defeat the demon of poverty. So, in plain talk those who say TGNC is a rich people’s church, I dare say they are correct.

God calls the poor, the wounded, the opinionated, the nosey, the caring, the broken, the seemingly unlovable. He calls them his own. He welcomes all of us, with our quirks and our maladies, into his unique community of love and acceptance, of grace and truth. That’s the template of TGNC” said Pastor Rikki Doolan.

The Uebert Angel Foundation has responded to the cholera outbreak in Zambia by dispatching a crack team to help with the coordination of aid as well as the clean-up exercise.

Members of Spirit Embassy The Good News Church equipped with cleaning equipment from The Uebert Angel Foundation took to the epicentre of the cholera outbreak in Lusaka to help with the clean-up exercise to mitigate and try to control and contain the cholera epidemic.

Speaking to Onward Christian Radio the spokesperson of The Uebert Angel Foundation Pastor Rikki Doolan said:

“We love the people and the nation of Zambia and we are praying for them. We are saddened by this out break and as such as the Uebert Angel Foundation we will pour out resources to help with the clean-up exercise and hope that the cholera outbreak will be controlled and contained. We are also praying that this epidemic is completely eradicated from Zambia. Precious lives have already been lost and The Uebert Angel Foundation not rest or spare any costs, will continue to assist the Zambian people and the Zambian government in their efforts to combat this cholera epidemic.”

Pastor Doolan went on to say “We have already stationed response teams on the ground and they are coordinating all relief efforts. We will continue to channel resources in respect to the needs and demands as will be required.”

Most public meetings and gatherings have been postponed or cancelled following the cholera outbreak.

The Zambian government has announced that the 2018 school calendar will delay indefinitely after 50 deaths have been recorded countrywide following the outbreak of cholera.

According to a joint statement by Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya and his education counterpart Dennis Wanchinga, the re-opening of schools countrywide has been deferred until further notice.

“We have had an outbreak of cholera from October 6, 2017 and it has affected mainly Lusaka Province and we have recorded sporadic cases in various parts of the country,” says Dr Chilufya.

Times change, but truth remains constant; and with so much importance resting on truth at this time in our life, we can better understand and appreciate the need to help the women who have been abused by the predator prophets.

If you have been following the news you would have probably come across very disturbing news about allegations levelled against Melody Dzingai are that she is sourcing women for prophet Uebert Angel’s Sexual pleasure.

Other media sources have described her as a pimp. I had a quick look at my dictionary to find the definition of Pimp and it is defined as

“A man who controls prostitutes and arranges clients for them, taking a percentage of their earnings in return.”

Melody Dzingai who is a very prominent figure in the ECG Pretoria Church lead by a Malawian born Prophet Shepherd Bushiri. The allegations are that she was lining up girls for the pleasure of a U.K. based Prophet Uebert Angel just before he travelled to South Africa for Bushiri’s birthday. The girls had to be in place before his arrival as he was traveling without his wife.

These are serious allegations that require attention and warrant an investigation from relevant authorities, indeed this has become our problem. As the Christian community we can not continue to look away.

The Media must play it’s part, it is already being whispered that the news website that had broken the story was approached and they were paid to remove the story.

However, due to the nature of the allegations and suspected abuse involved in this case I chose to follow up on this issue. I spoke to Leeroy Elliott the man who spoke out and released the damning evidence a batch of screenshots and videos.

I was initially mad at him for what he did but he explained that it was not his intention to fight Bushiri or Angel he wanted to resolve this issue amicably with them.  However, they opted for a heavy handed approach and deployed their henchmen to physically attack him.

They took his passport from him and also hacked his Facebook page where they posted a statement of apology. Something is not right about the behaviour of these prophets in this issue and is it any wonder that this has escalated so quickly?

My editor advised that we should not put out the screenshots and the faces of the girls that Melody Dzingai selected for Prophet Angel because that would further shame some of these women who are but victims in this filthy scandal.

As a woman and I am sure some women out there will agree with me that this young lady Melody Dzingai who has now been labelled as a pimp for the U.K. based Prophet Uebert Angel could be a victim herself.

How did she end up in that position? How and why would she agree to get other women to be used sexually by predator prophets?

This brings up a lot of questions . Many people that I have spoken to say this is occultism and these people are using these sexual activities as sources to draw power to prophesy. There are a lot of questions and no answers to this at the moment we can only speculate.

What is more disturbing is that Melody Dzingai would select married and single women for her spiritual grandfather Uebert Angel’s pleasure. A strange relationship for spiritual grandad and granddaughter one would say. But it gets more shocking when you find out that Uebert Angel’s wife is said to pay these ladies not to speak. These are not only sickening allegations but serious allegations that would be damaging to the body of Christ if not looked into and found to be substantial.

For far too long women’s rights organisations have looked away and avoided the cries from victims of predator prophets and this is where it has got to. There is a crisis a genuine crisis and this issue must be discussed it can not be ignored any longer.

Women, you are needed. Never before in the history of the Church has there been such a need for women who are willing to sacrifice popularity if necessary, suffer loneliness if required, even be rejected if needed, to defend the gospel of Jesus Christ. We can not and should not let these sexual predator prophets operate with impunity.

When you keep the commandments and follow the example of Jesus Christ , it’s like holding up a light. Your good example helps others to find their way in a darkening world. It takes courage to do what you know to be right even when it is hard, very hard. But you will never lose your courage unless you choose to.

We live in one of the most critical periods of all time. The powers of evil are fighting against truth and righteousness, and the battle is reaching a climax. Someday the war between good and evil will be won—a permanent victory for good. But right now each one of you can fight for the right and stand up for truth on your own battlefield by making right choices about what you will do and what you won’t do as you learn to listen to the promptings of the Spirit. Some of you chose to look away when you saw another sister abused. Some are the abused sisters who choose to be quiet maybe because you feared to speak out or have been intimidated into silence by these sexual predator prophets?

The laws governing sexual abuse are constantly changing. For this reason, most people who work with sexual abuse survivors rely on the victims’ feelings, not the law, when determining whether a sexual assault has occurred. It is more difficult in Africa and even more difficult in churches particularly these prophetic churches.

It was disappointing and disturbing to read of the culture that now seems prevalent across churches were victims are ignored or just offered a prayer, while abusers are protected. Most prominent recent example being that of Archbishop of York John Sentamu the second most senior clergyman in the Anglican Church who failed to report a priest’s alleged rape to the police.
The archbishop of York was told by Matthew Ineson that he had been raped as a teenager in the 1980s by Rev Trevor Devamanikkan in Bradford. A memo from June 2013 reveals that John Sentamu received Ineson’s allegation but recommended ‘no action’ be taken. Instead he replied to Ineson offering his prayers ‘at this difficult time’.

Devamanikkan went on to live in Witney, Oxfordshire, before eventually being charged with three counts of buggery and three counts of indecent assault last year. However he committed suicide the day before he was due in court in June last year. This is sadly what is happening in the church.

But we must encourage the victims to do what is right get help there is danger in trying to bottle everything in and suffering in silence. Many are suffering from depression, flashbacks and post-traumatic stress disorder. While the abusers continue to live flashy lives in impunity because they claim to be anointed powerful prophets. This must be challenged it’s time we did the right thing.

Once you make your decision to do what is right, you don’t have to fight the battle on your own. You won’t have to be afraid of a spiritual back lash. You don’t have to suffer in silence every day. You simply take a stand and say to yourself, “I will do this; I won’t do that.” And Satan will have to turn elsewhere to find a victim to use as a guilt punching bag. Stand up, speak up, start your healing process.

Many women who are victims of abuse whom I have spoken to say speaking about your ordeal helps a lot and trying to bottle things in, is the worst thing that a victim can do. It is difficult to come out and speak up as a victim but the benefits will out weigh your fears.

The time to brush aside allegations of this nature is now past. It is important that such allegations are investigated. It is also important for the Media to cover such issues with care and due diligence otherwise many will be initiated into occultism and satanism unknowingly.
